Loz:OoT Update 2 Getting into Hyrule castle and learning Epona song

Figuring out how to get past those guards to the castle was a bit strange for me, like at first I didn't know I can climb up the castle wall instead of paying the idiot guard to let me through. I looked everywhere for that girls dad, I looked actually around the outside first because I misread the instructions. Well I finally got it, and i figured it out completely on my own. I was tempted though to use a guide but I noticed some small details that led me to get it down.

The thing I really like about this game is that it makes you pretty much think for yourself, I find most games gives you too many obvious hints or points you in the direction you are suppose to go. So this is actually refreshing to play because it makes me think about it. And Im really understanding why so many consider this their favorite game.







Getting through the courtyard was actually pretty fun. I liked hiding against the walls to get past the guards, And I was tempted to see how far back I would have to be sent if I got caught. So I finally got to Zelda and talked to her and learned some interesting things, Also I learned a song from her protecter which I wonder where I will use it.

So I get sent out of the castle and Im thinking maybe I should see if I can go to the ranch again, I know I get a horse as a kid and i figured this would be a good time. I talk to the little girl and epona seems afraid of me at first and the girl teaches me the song for Epona. Well I played it a couple times and all it does is run to me doing nothing else. Im not sure what exactly Im suppose to do but it sucks that I wont know.

LoZ:OoT update 1 I beat first boss

Considering this being my first time playing this game, I had a couple obstacles that I had to figure out to get through using trial and error. All new games now aren't nearly as hard and awesome as this game, Like it required a lot of puzzle solving to figure out some of this stuff. They give me some hints but they were vague. And later on I bet those hints get even more vague. Also another hard part about this game is that i need to get use to that controller again.

Fighting Gohma was interesting. I first walk in the room and it goes all dark and im running around trying to figure out what is going on. I keep running and nothing happens so an idea comes to my head to look around maybe the boss is on the wall or something and I see this thing with light above me and the boss event starts. This creepy ass looking spider with only 4 legs though. Well I think it had 4 legs. I remember one of the mobs that I had to face just before that room gave me a hint about stunning it in order to attack it. So I stunned it and was able to attack it and then she climbed up the wall onto the ceiling. I was like shit whats going to happen now and she drops these eggs, 3 of them to be exact, and her little creepy hatch lings come out. I will admit I failed a couple times before I finally got this boss down. I figured out that you can one shot the eggs if you attack them quickly or even shoot them which is also effective. By my last try on this boss I finally got use to attacking while targeting and did the jump sword attacks and got the creepy thing down.









Overall I think this was an interesting boss fight, in most games I have played more recently they explain how to kill it but this was different I had to pretty much figure it out on my own. I could cheat and use a walk through but I feel the experience wont be as great. I have heard the shadow and water temple are a bitch to get through so those may be an exception to that rule I gave myself.

I finally got Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time

I have been hunting this game for a while now and a friend of mine let me barrow it. I am aware how hard this game is and I want to try to do as much as i can without a walk through. it may take me a couple weeks or even a week depending on how much I play. Im aware how epic this game is and I plan to have an epic experience beating it.

I plan also writing blogs about my experiences through the game maybe one for each temple and all the troubles i have had. At the moment im fighting through the deku tree. I now know to save it every moment I can. I realize after i died in here and had to restart the whole thing. I should be beating this tree soon after writing this.
