My College Expections and the Real Deal

Im going to start this off by saying how i came to choosing what i want to do and simply it started from me wanting to get into music production but i wasn't able to cuz i didn't have enough practice or a good enough profile. So i took the year off, it wasn't just for that reason, i was also in the middle of moving but it was my biggest reason. then one day i was talking to a friend who was in the cooking program that i am in now and i was telling her about how I'm in a mess right now and i don't know what to do and she made me realize how much i actually like cooking, i did it all the time ( mind you it was basic cooking) but i found it fun. so i applied for George brown college having no idea on how to do it but i did as much research that i could. i will admit i was a lil lazy in reading everything so often enough i would miss an important detail in all of it and it would cause me to go running to my friends for help on what to do. after i got all the ( i should actually say most), i felt like i was set.

As summer rolled around it started dawning on me that what if I am not good enough to do this or what if I'm not disciplined enough to get my work done and also be on time. i started stressing out a lot and it wasn't good, i was loosing a lot of sleep because of this, not saying this was my only source of stress but it was defiantly one of the biggest. i felt like giving up before i even tried and i couldn't take that. i did as much studying as possible but i was always looking for the wrong things, i wish i would of known what exactly to study before hand . anyways my point is i was stressing about something i was unsure of and it was completely a waste of time.

as school started i felt most of the stress leave me. it actually felt really good when i started and it wasnt as bad as i expected. sure some of the classes dont make sense to me or sometimes i struggle but that only means i know where to improve on. my culinary skills class seems be be kicking my ass the most and i was planning on doing french cooking down the road but that doesnt seem like a possibility at the moment. though since i have been doing baking it seems like this is what i really want to do. i really enjoy this class and im doing really good in it, even when i dont try i still end up making something i really like so i feel this is my calling. ok enough with the run on sentences. anyways im only in the middle in my second month of school and im really enjoying it, i met some awesome people, and i have a really good friend heather who is just so awesome. we try to help each other as much as possible and still have fun at the same time. if your reading this and you are unsure about college or even university, do it, even if you think you may change your mind, those places are the best place for you to find out exactly what you want to do.

this will be the end of my blog now, being my first one i can already see how badly written this is, BUT that only means i can get better the more i write. LATER
